05 - SRTM Poland - with Global Mapper
Model koloru zastosowany w odwzorowaniu wysokości oraz dane SRTM dla obszaru Polski zaczerpnięte zostały ze strony : http://netgis.geo.uw.edu.pl/srtm/. Za opublikowanie składamy autorom podziękowania. Dane SRTM dla obszaru Polski. Global Mapper połączył kilkadziesiąt plików[.hgt] pobranych z serwera netgis. Odwzorowanie kolorystyczne w/g p.Janusza Michalaka (netgis), zaimplementowane do Global Mapper, nazwane roboczo SRTM Polska Shader.

Screenshot displays an elevation model of Poland created from 92 SRTM .hgt files plus world administrative boundaries and world vector shoreline data. The SRTM elevation data is rendered using a custom elevation shader (the SRTM Polska Shader selection on the toolbar). A 3D path profile is displayed along the selected border line.

Global Mapper loaded with the Topo 1 dataset - worldwide elevation model (land and bathymetry) using the SRTM PL Shader to color the image. Area of Poland. Conbverted to UTM. Some main cities displayed. Find Address Search used.

Dane SRTM dla obszaru wokół Kozienic. Odwzorowanie kolorystyczne modelu wysokościowego - ATLAS Shader. Na tym barwnym tle zastosowano funkcję wyszukiwania adresów Global Mapper. Program łączył się kolejno z zewnętrzną bazą danych, pobierał współrządne lokalizacji w/g kodu miejscowości, lokalizował na obszarze. Jednocześnie (dla urozmaicenia) w tym ćwiczeniu wykorzystywano narzędzie "Digitizer" do edycji wyglądu punktu, wielkości i koloru nazwy, jej umieszczenia względem danego punktu.

22 - GLobal Mapper - Find Address Search

W tym przypadku dla skontrastowania zobrazowania zastosowano ciekawy kolorystycznie HSV Shader wbudowany domyślnie w GlobalMapper.
Narzędzie wyszukiwania "Find Address" działa bardzo sprawnie. W przypadku nazw mogących się powtarzać w innej lokalizacji stosuje się uściślenia oddzielane przecinkami np. Kozienice, mazowieckie lub znając kod miesjcowości : Kozienice, 26-900,
Uwaga: Baza, z której korzysta Global Mapper znajduje się poza Polską, dlatego wyszukując pomijamy polskie znaki diakrytyczne ("ogonki"), choć de facto baza w większości przypadków po odszukaniu wskazuje prawidłowe nazwy. Dodatkową opcją "Find address" jest możliwość - wycentrowania obrazu ekranu na znalezionym punkcie a także oznaczenia go na wiele sposobów narzędziem "Digitizer".
